Residential pest control in Mountain Village
Most Mountain Village homes are single-family houses or small multi-unit buildings with crawl spaces or pier foundations. That construction style creates entry points that rodents and insects exploit every season. We handle the full range of residential pest problems, from mice in the pantry to wasps in the wall void. Our residential programs are built around the Alaska calendar, with exclusion work in fall and insect treatments in spring and summer.
- Rodent exclusion and trapping โ We seal foundation gaps, utility penetrations, and vent openings with exclusion mesh and rodent-proof sealants, then set snap traps and bait stations inside. Most Mountain Village homes see the problem resolved within two visits.
- Ant and spider treatment โ We treat kitchen plumbing chases, foundation seams, and exterior eaves with residual sprays, boric acid, and diatomaceous earth. Baits handle the colony while sealants close the entry cracks that let ants back in.
- Wasp nest removal โ Wasp nests inside wall voids and under eaves need void treatment, not just surface spray. We treat after dark, remove the nest material, and seal the opening so wasps cannot rebuild in the same spot.
- Bed bug inspection and treatment โ We inspect mattresses, bed frames, and baseboards with a UV blacklight, then treat with insect growth regulators and residual sprays. Two treatments spaced 14 days apart is our standard protocol for Mountain Village homes.
